The Team

Pascal is a Belgian based in Italy, missing the beer and the chocolate but loving the coffee and food. Started with WordPress only in 2013, but fell in love immediately. He is currently a Polyglots team mentor and WordPress.tv moderator. As plugin author he found back his PHP roots from many many years ago.

WordPress is her passion. Mom of 5, coach and trainer, she loves to connect people within the WordPress ecosystem. Birgit has been playing with WordPress since its first release. Currently, she is a Polyglots team mentor (though you might see her lurking in the other make/WordPress teams, to ease connections when needed).

I create brands and design the communication for activities around the world - both remotely and on-site, - and I sustain entrepreneurs in the localisation of their companies, communication and products. Besides that, I study, I teach, I take pictures, I write, I translate and I coach professionals on communication and language. Curious as a cat and in love with diversities, I collect books, fonts and essential oils. I thrive in the countryside, surrounded by little flora and lotsa fauna, where I cultivate dreams and push boundaries. Online, I'm zetaraffix.

Swedish Poet and Writer, Project and Product Manager (especially within Telecoms and IT), fluent in Russian, who has lived and worked in Russia, Bulgaria, Oman, United Arab Emirates, Bahrain... Currently living in Barcelona. Actively using WordPress since 2011, when he converted his own blog in Russian about living as an expat in Oman into a multilingual website on WordPress and also translated the WordPress theme of this site into Russian and Swedish.

Japanese GTE & Locale Manager. Part of Team Global that facilitates internationalization and localization of WordPress. She has been involved in the Japanese WordPress community since 2003, contributing in the areas of translation, documentation, and community organization.

Petya is a Senior Project Manager and event manager and the community lead for the WordPress Polyglots team. Petya helped organise WordCamp Europe 2014 and WordCamp Europe 2015 and lead the team that organised WordCamp Europe 2016 in Vienna.

Located in Athens [Greece] working as a WordPress Theme & Plugin Developer and Tattoo Artist. He has been into programming since 12 years young and drawing for as long as there was a pencil around. Contributing to WordPress Core, Meta and Forums always wishing there was a little more time in a day to get more things done.
